Ebook About
At the Cold Shoulder of History gives an in-depth look at what happened in the aftermath of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. One of the only living participants in President Kennedy’s autopsy now comes forward after almost 54 years of silence and speaks about what truly took place inside of the morgue at Bethesda Naval Hospital on the night of November 22, 1963. Jenkins gives a detailed account about the procedures performed on the President’s remains. What he learned that night led him to believe there was a conspiracy in the murder of the 35th President of the United States and caused him to undertake his own personal journey into the labyrinth of the assassination.

Book At The Cold Shoulder of History: The Chilling Story of a 21-year old Navy Hospital Corpsman Who Stood at the Shoulder of JFK during the Bethesda Autopsy Review :

While I look forward to what researchers, clinicians, and historians will make of Mr. Jenkins' recollections, I am disappointed that this book could have been much more valuable to a reader. The editing is dreadful, poor spelling and wrong verb tense, ridiculous, superfluous punctuation, and almost no logical organization to the information. I find it a tad absurd that such an important piece of the puzzle was rushed to the marketplace without proper care and attention. A true, professional ghostwriter could have even given this book a compelling narrative instead of its rambling, near incoherence. It is important, however, to not dismiss Mr. Jenkins as an important witness just because he is not a professional writer. The information in the book is critical and the first eyewitness account of the doctored autopsy of the president. Drs. Humes and Boswell, who led the Bethesda team, have never really been open or honest about what transpired in the autopsy theater that day. They were working on an altered corpse, and knew it, but they and their families were likely threatened if they made any disclosures.Jenkins might have provided more context for each of the inconsistencies he witnessed in the autopsy. The average reader won't know the importance of many of the discrepancies he points out and he fails to offer a complete understanding of those conflicts, both anatomically and procedurally. Nonetheless, we have here a critical piece of the puzzle and it should not go ignored by history. How much more evidence do we need to reclaim our history and put an end to the Oswald mythology? In spite of the Warren Commission whitewash, the truth still abides.
This book is about one of the more interesting aspects of the JFK assassination which is the medical evidence and the irregularities associated with President Kennedy's so called autopsy. The conspiracy theory is they had to get JFK's body out of Parkland Hospital in Dallas before any sort of normal autopsy could be done. This was highly illegal since it broke the chain of custody of JFK's body. And the reason for those types of laws is exactly what has happened in the JFK case. Then JFK's wounds were surgically altered before the sham of an autopsy they performed at a Naval hospital where the government had control of everything. Just basically speaking the autopsy report that came out of this highly suspicious process doesn't match up with what the doctors at Parkland Hospital reported concerning JFK's bullet wounds.John Kennedy was the victim of a fatal shooting which is something that happens every day somewhere. When that happens an autopsy is performed to determine how many times the victim was shot and what the actual injuries were. But right from the beginning there's been questions and suspicions about why that simple and routine process was not followed. This book reviews and adds to the findings of other researchers and authors concerning the JFK medical evidence:A Deeper, Darker Truth: Tom Wilson's Journey into the Assassination of John F. Kennedy by Donald T. PhillipsIn my opinion Donald Phillips' book, which is based on the work of the great Tom Wilson, is the definitive source for the JFK medical evidence. Tom Wilson discovered that there was only one head shot and JFK was hit by at least 6 bullets.Best Evidence: Disguise and Deception in the Assassination of John F. Kennedy by David S. LiftonDavid Lifton's powerful account of his own quest for the truth about JFK's autopsy and bullet wounds.Trauma Room One: The JFK Medical Coverup Exposed by Charles A. CrenshawDr. Charles Crenshaw was a surgeon working at Parkland Hospital when the mortally wounded John Kennedy was brought there.Inside the Assassination Records Review Board: The U.S. Government's Final Attempt to Reconcile the Conflicting Medical Evidence in the Assassination of JFK - Volume 1by Douglas P. HorneDoug Horne's no frills, 5 volume avalanche of information about the findings of the ARRB government investigation concerning the JFK medical evidence.Mr. Horne's book series if very important because it came out of what I think was the most recent government JFK investigation. However his books can get technical in places.Mr. Horne came up with a confusing and convoluted scenario about when and where JFK's body was subjected to surgical alterations before the fake autopsy. In his book James Jenkins shows that Mr. Horne was wrong about some of that.
